Getting there

From Dublin Airport

There are two bus companies that have a service from Dublin Airport to Limerick city centre: Eireagle and Dublin Coach. Tickets can be purchased online or on-board the bus.  The journey time is approximately 2.5 hours. Disembark at Arthur’s Quay Limerick (the main city centre stop). The conference hotel is directly across the river from the bus stop.

Alternatively, you can get a bus (Dublin Bus 747, departs every 15 minutes) or a taxi to Heuston train station, and take a train to Limerick (Colbert) – see below for details.

From Dublin city centre

There is a train from Heuston station to Limerick (Colbert) every hour on the hour, and the journey time is 2 hours.  Tickets can be purchased here. The conference hotel is a 15 minute walk from the train station.

There are also buses every half an hour from Dublin city centre (Burg Quay) to Arthur’s Quay Limerick, which is directly across the river from the conference hotel. See Dublin Coach website.

From Shannon Airport

Shannon Airport is the closest airport to Limerick. Bus Eireann Expressway route 51 goes from the airport to Limerick city. There are buses every hour, at 49 minutes past the hour. The journey takes 30 minutes. See here.
